Admissions Requirements

Applicants to the University of Cincinnati’s Bachelor of Science in Health Information Management program are accepted quarterly and must have previously graduated with an Associate’s degree in HIM or HIT. Official school transcripts are required and must carry a minimum 2.5 GPA. Applicants must also hold certification in RHIT or be RHIT eligible and taking the registry exam within six months.

Gail is also a coding consultant and author of Basic CPT/HCPCS Coding. She is an active member of the American Health Information Management Association and currently serving as a member of the Board of Directors. Gail received her bachelor’s degree from The Ohio State University and her master’s degree in education from The College of Mt. St. Joseph in Cincinnati, Ohio.
