Job Description: LexiCode is searching for a Cancer Registry Manager to work on-site in the New Orleans, Louisiana area. Relocation assistance offered.

LexiCode Corporation, a leader in HIM Consulting Services, invites you to join our team as the Cancer Registry Manager working onsite at a hospital client location in the New Orleans, LA area.

Candidate Responsibilities:

  • Supervising registry staff; conducting regular quality reviews of all staff and providing feedback.
  • Maintaining compliance with terms of client contract, to include but not limited to, specified turnaround times, quality levels, and report requirements.
  • Completing and maintaining cancer abstracts and profiles in accordance with contractual obligations.
  • Assigning ICD-0 and morphology codes for cancer cases in accordance with client contract. These code assignments are based on the interpretation of patient documentation, with regards to and in accordance with official ACOS guidelines.

    Candidate Qualifications:
    This position requires a CTR credential, 3 years of experience in a hospital cancer registry, the ability to work independently, and strong leadership skills. This position can not be performed remotely.
