| Door County Memorial Hospital/Ministry Health Care in Sturgeon Bay, Wisconsin, is searching for a Medical Clinic Coding Coordinator.
Responsible for coordinating day-to-day activities related to coding and reimbursement across the Door County Memorial Hospital healthcare continuum. The Coordinator keeps abreast of coding and reimbursement issues, works with the Director and Revenue Cycle team to establish proactive systems to ensure optimal reimbursement consistent with corporate compliance guidelines.
Candidate Requirements:
Successful Candidate will have an associate degree in health care field and Registered Health Information Technician (RHIT) credential required. Additional CCS credential preferred.
Medical terminology and coding certification/training required. Must be able to code and audit all provider professional charges in a variety of practices. A minimum of five (5) years experience with ICD-9-CM and CPT coding.
Shift is 40 hours per week, Monday-Friday.
