Background:
For more than 30 years, the nation’s leading financial services companies have relied on ARGO for their mission critical front- and back-office applications. ARGO has applied this experience to healthcare, with the development of a modern, highly accurate enterprise master person index (EMPI) that will help healthcare providers and payers to improve patient care as well as operational efficiency. We are looking for creative problem solvers with a passion for innovation to join our team and revolutionize the way healthcare does business.

Health Information Management Leader:
At ARGO, the Health Information Management (HIM) Leader position has a broad impact on product development and customer realization. Serving as a subject matter expert to the Enterprise Match and Resolution team (ARGO’s EMPI), this position plays a vital role in crafting future vision for the product, identifying opportunities for improvement and providing feedback on design concepts. Engaging with customer leaders in the sales, implementation and optimization phases, the HIM Leader ensures the full value of the solution is identified and realized. Preventing and resolving duplicate medical records is a critical step for healthcare organizations to reduce waste and improve care for patients. The HIM Leader helps our customers realize those objectives.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
The primary duties for the Health Information Management Leader center around defining and delivering services to HIM, Admitting and Scheduling departments that add value to the EMPI product. Such services may include process improvement, performance analysis, and organizational design. Services may be provided to customers of any size and as such may involve planning for a single facility or planning across a large multi-state enterprise.

For example, the HIM Leader may engage an EMPI customer to review the process for evaluating and resolving duplicates, the skills of the staff performing this work and their results to determine where improvements can be made. Similarly, the HIM Leader may review the activities of scheduling or admitting staff to identify opportunities for improvement.

As the services team grows the HIM Leader will be responsible for building and managing the team delivering these engagements, setting standards for services success and developing processes for repeatable service delivery.

The Health Information Management Leader impacts the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) in many ways including:

Project & Requirements Planning

Provides experience and knowledge that assists the project management teams in identifying how customer interaction will impact timeline and how the needs of medical records and patient intake areas should be accounted for within project planning.

Product Requirements & Specifications

High Level and Detailed Design

As a subject matter expert, the HIM Leader is positioned to assist the product management and development teams in better understanding the needs of our customers and provides direct input on meeting those needs in an efficient manner.

Testing

The HIM Leader also assists the testing organization in understanding how best to ensure the product is working as desired. Input in this area includes such items as suggesting test cases and user scenarios as well as reviewing product performance testing results.

In addition the HIM Leader supports customer facing activities in the sales, implementation and optimization phases of projects. The customer realization process reflects ARGOs efforts to engage and assist customers throughout the product selection and implementation process.

They provide relevant process and user knowledge to support demonstrating the capabilities of the solution as it will be used in the customers environment.

The consistent demonstration of relevant knowledge allows the HIM Leader to gain credibility and build trust with the customer making it possible to have a positive impact on the customers risk evaluation.
