We are currently seeking experienced full-time inpatient and outpatient remote coders to perform accurate code assignments while working remotely from a home office.
The ideal candidate will be flexible, detail-oriented and have the ability to work independently. Additional qualifications include:
- RHIA, RHIT, CCS, CCS-P or CPC certification
- A minimum of three years coding experience in an acute care setting
- Extensive knowledge of ICD-9-CM coding conventions, medical terminology, anatomy and physiology, federal regulations and policies pertaining to documentation and billing
- The ability to provide a secure work environment is a must
